This is probably one of the top 5 books I've ever read. It starts off confusing because it takes place 100 years ago in a different country, but it becomes this chilling testament of truth. All the lies they tell about this man begin to show themselves, the events in this book relate to a lot of current ones in different ways. Some of Europe's greatest enemies as Hitler describes made it through WW2 and continue their actions today. It's one of those books that blows your mind. It can turn you upside down and make you really think.I suggest the only version that is at all real is the new Ford Translation. As far as I know. You have to think about who's writing it. Would you trust someone who is from CNN writing about trump, or Fox news writing about Obama? No. This is what all other versions are like. You need someone who is at least more neutral writing about Hitler than some Hitler hating slam writer trying to scrap his works in spiteful disapproval. Choose New Ford Translation or its Fake News.
Fantastic critique of Weimar Germany. Many allegories to the state of the USA and most of the west in our modern times. Very good critique of the multi-national corporate and financial sectors which results in the atomization of a people and how negative an impact it has on their society, family, and identity.
Richard Mannheim provided the best English translation of Mein Kampf. It’s just Hitler’s words, and no one else’s. Exactly what I was looking for.
It's a classic. Nothing I say here should make a difference whether you purchase and read it or not. I think that people should read it. We should understand other points of view in history.
This is VERY intense and written in a not-easy-to-read style. I honestly have only read a small portion. I became interested in Hitler's philosophy from watching programs on TV that told the story of his rise, reign and fall. It referred to Mein Kampf (my struggle) often during those segments.
This book is VERY large. It is about the size of a textbook.
